The work of Richard Dupont engages themes of perception and originality in a digital world. His large scale immersive installations infuse public spaces with private exhibitionism, and draw attention to the collapse of public and private space. His works in sculpture, installation, drawing and printmaking address the loss of individual identity and the dissulution of the body, nature, and the artwork into streams of data and distribution. Recent solo exhibitions include The Lever House, Carolina Nitsch Contemporary Art, and HVCCA. His work is in public collections including The Museum of Modern Art, The Whitney Museum and The Cleveland Museum. Lives and works in New York City.
